Tour de Flambeau (formerly Flambeau 40 Road Race and Time Trial)
The final road race (and time trial) of the year in Park Falls, Wisconsin: Grouse Capital of the World (or so we hear). Rolling hills define this course with a start/finish in town right at the Chamber of Commerce building. It is about 35 miles, with the option of a short, 6-mile fun race for youthful racers looking to experience a circuit-style race and hear some cowbell.
The time trial begins on the other side of 13 right near the high school, on quiet side roads along the river with a fabulously fast downhill run to the finish!
Discount for those who register for both events, and lunch following the road race! PDF Link will be on Wisport.net to Park Falls COC website as soon as they have updated their flyer and registration page, if you prefer the "snail mail" route. Registration open here on Midwest events; please be sure to check the proper box: RR only, TT only, or BOTH RR and TT, and ALSO be sure to click on the appropriate age. Juniors get an additional discount (18 and under).
Please note there are no refunds if a person signs up for both events and chooses to only do one.
